I designed this crest for a family planning a reunion. The primary motif is their nationality. The stars and stripes are symbols of America and the gold shield with the red lion on St. Anthony’s cross is the flag of Nova Scotia. The sword, a symbol of military, points in the direction of America and represents the family's Loyalist history. Written across the blade of the sword is “Fidelitas et Libertas” which is Latin for “Loyalty and Liberty”.

This illustration was created for a company that organizes programs specifically created to help people use humor and laughter to reduce stress and promote physical well-being.
